Ever since I started the project and had the 29th parallel stuff done I had wanted to sort of recreate those themes. So I decided it would be a sort of... looking back album, where I'd take elements from each prior album and create something where each song reflected a past concept.

'oscillating the spiritual aorta' was modeled after 'drifting thoughts...' and 'repetitive dark tunnels' from 29th parallel.

'coming to nightmares' had a little bit from a couple of the other albums, but sort of a mesh between 29th and opaque.

'the fading ember' simply took the odd outside/tribal-esque feel from 'subtle temper'. (At least, a lot of the sounds from that album sort of remind me of something along those lines!)

'unknown iv' was a piece I considered trashing in replace of another track that isn't present on any album. But I'd lost the core files of the track and the vocal take I did on it was screwed up. So I was a bit frustrated when I made 'unknown iv', and just in an odd mood in particular. (Aah, life. Your ups and downs!) ...It's not a favorite of mine. But it shows a sort of abrasive edge.

'returning to green meadows' is probably one of my favorites. I modeled it after 'sculpting green meadows...' and 'the brighter side of dementia' (Which is still probably one of my favorite tracks to this date.)
