On this album, the second installment of x.h. tracks... I wanted to do something a little different than the first, but still keep the same overall concept.

April in Oregon brings a lot of rain. Which was perfect. It was a cloudly, gloomy day... and I just sort of stuck my crummy little PC recording mic up to my window and recorded some winds, passing cars in a slight distance; outside sounds. All that along with how I was feeling that day prompted the title and theme of the album.

I really like sitting back and listening to 'adrift, outside and away'. I was pretty happy how this track turned out. I never really got to show anyone as MySpace only allowed particular sizes of .mp3's to be uploaded. The third and fourth tracks are my other two favorites from this batch. ... 'forming, crashing' was composed of a bunch of left over loops I'd made, and the end product just seemed to fit as a close-out for the album: so I went with it. (Which I do a lot! What? All these random loops? Crushcramtogethermix! Poof! A song!)

And that's the second mini-album.
